Cricket Sims

Cricket (Gaither) Sims, of Durant, Okla., passed from this life on Monday, January 7, 2019 at the age of 31 . She was born on Thursday, Sept. 24, 1987 in Durant, Okla. to Edward Levi, Sr. and Wanda Jean (Arnold) Gaither.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed being a mom. She cherished her time with her kids and her family.

She was preceded in death by her father and a sisters Reagan Michelle Gaither and Yulonda Cox

Survivors include her mother Wanda Jean Gaither of Stringtown, Okla.; brother Edward Levi Gaither, Jr. of Stratford, Okla.; sisters Ida Marie Rowland of Durant, Okla., Christine Cunningham of Aubrey, Texas; son Jonathan Charles Sims of Stratford, Okla.; daughters Kalli Carmen Parrott of Durant, Okla., Jaidyn Denise Sims of Stratford, Okla.; nephew Nathyanayal Gaither of Stratford, Okla.; nieces Gabi Cunningham of Aubrey, Texas, Lexi Cunningham of Aubrey, Texas, Kayla Cunningham of Aubrey, Texas and Lola Rowland of Durant, Okla.

A family visitation will be held prior to the service at New Horizon Fellowship Church from 1-2 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 2 pm on Saturday, Jan. 12, at the New Horizon Fellowship Church in Calera, Okla. Interment will be at the Jackson Cemetery in Bennington, Okla.

Bro. Adam Cantrell will be officiating. Freddie Parrott, Dakota Raiburn, Nick Rowland, Floyd McCarty, Tommy Bayles and Edward Gaither will serve as pallbearers.
