BRYAN COUNTY – October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and Choctaw Children & Family Services want to provide an opportunity for all community members to come together to honor those who have lost their lives, offer support to survivors of abuse and take a stand against domestic violence with a Flowers on the Pond Vigil.
On Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 10 a.m. we invite you to gather with us at the Choctaw Headquarters Amphitheater. White and purple flowers will be handed out to attendees to place in our pond to honor survivors and the fallen victims and family members of domestic violence.
