DURANT – The Durant Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated its newest member, Pair’s Sandblasting & Painting, with a ribbon cutting on Tuesday.

The business, located north of Bokchito on State Highway 22, offers sandblasting and painting services for a variety of projects.

Owner Doyle Pair said the company has done plenty of sandblasting work locally.

“We do a lot for work for Cardinal Glass, repairing their damaged racks; Gas Turbine, blasting and painting their turbines plus their skids; and at Nitro-Lift, over in Tishomingo, we do a lot of stuff for their meter skids for natural gas,” Pair said.

“For the neighbor next door, we’re liable to be doing their lawn furniture and cattle trailers. We’ll do a variety of things – things aren’t too big and things aren’t too small.

Pair said the business does mostly industrial painting and homes every now and then.

“We would definitely like to invite the people by for anything they may need,” Pair said.

“We’re here to make a living, not a killing. We want to earn their business.”

For more information or any sandblasting or painting needs, contact Pair’s at 580-775-1272 or dwpair@ymail.com.
