The OSSAA released the Class A and Class B high school basketball playoff brackets on Thursday.
The three Bryan County schools – Achille, Bennington and Victory Life – all knew they were headed east to McCurtain County for the contests. Now the teams know who they will get to face in the first round.
Here is a look at the opening round of the playoffs.
Class A, Area IV
District 2 at Smithville
Friday: Fort Towson vs. Achille (Girls), 6:30 p.m.; Achille vs. Fort Towson (Boys), 8 p.m.
Saturday: Girls winner vs. Smithville, 6:30 p.m.; Boys winner vs. Smithville, 8 p.m.
Class A, Area IV
District 4 at Wright City
Friday: Wright City vs. Bennington (Girls), 6:30 p.m.; Bennington vs. Soper (Boys), 8 p.m.
Saturday: Girls winner vs. Soper, 6:30 p.m.; Boys winner vs. Wright City, 8 p.m.
Class B, Area IV
District 7 at Battiest
Friday: Victory Life vs. Eagletown (Girls), 6:30 p.m.; Victory Life vs. Eagletown (Boys), 8 p.m.
Saturday: Girls winner vs. Battiest, 6:30 p.m.; Boys winner vs. Battiest, 8 p.m.
